[ Pepper Potts has had to deal with a lot of shit in her life. More than most people, and certainly more than most secretaries. If there's one thing it has given her, it's a very low tolerance for people who try to look down on her or give her a secondary helping of shit. She's far from fearless, but in the face of an immediate threat, her response is resistance, not capitulation. Freaking out was filed away to be done later.
